While a group of NFL players refuse to stand for the National Anthem, Thomas Gunderson, who was injured during the Las Vegas shooting, did the opposite when he met First Lady Melania and President Trump.
The Hill reports:
A man who was injured in the mass shooting in Las Vegas insisted on standing to meet President Trump and first lady Melania despite his injuries.
Thomas Gunderson, one of the hundreds injured in the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, shared a video of him standing to meet the Trumps during their visit to meet victims of the shooting Wednesday.
Gunderson posted the video of the interaction on his personal Facebook page.
