Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter took a shot at President Trump Friday on “The Late Show.”
Apparently Americans wanted a jerk in the White House said the 93-year-old former president of Donald Trump.
Stephen Colbert asked Jimmy Carter if he was “too nice” to be President because Jimmy Carter was criticized for his “demeanor.”
This led to Colbert’s next question, “Does America want kind of a jerk for President?”
Jimmy Carter zinged Trump and said, “Apparently from this recent election, yes.”
The liberal audience erupted in laughter and applauded.
“I pray that he’ll be a good president and that he’ll keep our country at peace and that he’ll refrain from using nuclear weapons and that he will promote human rights. So yeah, I pray for him,” Jimmy Carter said.
The good news is that thanks to Obama, the grand appeaser, Jimmy Carter is now the second worst President in U.S. history.
