Presidential son Donald Trump, Jr. called out Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) for inciting hate, saying their encouragement of hatred will lead to assassinations, using a recent tweet by a Trump-hater to illustrate his point.
“This is what happens when people like Congresswoman Waters and Senator Booker incite and encourage hate. Others will think it’s ok and take it even farther. This is the tolerant left. Make no mistake of that, this is how they feel.”

Trump commented over a tweet from June 20 by @KayleighMaaarie that had a GIF of a woman aiming a revolver pointed straight ahead as if to shoot someone, captioned, “I am fucking sick of trump and his minions. Can someone just assassinate him already?!?!?! #trump”

The person holding the gun appears to be a young white woman with brown hair, like the Twitter avatar of Kayleigh. (Secret Service take note.)
That this tweet has remained on Twitter for a week says something about the current state of politics.
