The audience attending the Global Citizen concert in Central Park Saturday night fled in terror at the loud bang of what turned was initially blamed to be a barricade falling. Video shows panicked concertgoers pouring out of the Great Lawn before calm was restored. A later report by police indicates the noise was from people stepping on plastic bottles. The panic occurred as the one-year anniversary of the Las Vegas massacre at an open-air concert.
