President Donald Trump accepted United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley’s resignation on Tuesday.
As United Nations ambassador for the Trump Administration Haley was praised for her work in implementing the Trump agenda.
Late this morning President Trump and Ambassador Haley held a joint press conference in the Oval Office.
During the question and answer period one reporter asked President Trump about the swearing-in ceremony last night. Former Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton attacked the president for the political nature of the ceremony last night. Clinton told Chistiane Amanpour at CNN, “What was done last night in the White House was a political rally. It further undermined the image and integrity of the court.”
President Trump was quick to respond.
President Trump: I guess that’s why she lost. She doesn’t get it. She never did. I knew that a long time ago. Hillary never got it. That’s why she lost. Anything else?
