Sarah Sanders Posts Video of CNN Reporter Jim Acosta Assaulting White House Intern, Stands By Suspension

- November 08, 2018

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders responded to near universal criticism from the media, posting a new statement to Twitter Wednesday night standing by her decision to suspend CNN reporter Jim Acosta from the White House for assaulting a female intern during President Donald Trump’s press conference earlier Wednesday. Sanders included a video clip that focuses on Acosta using a karate chop type move on the intern to stop her from taking the White House microphone to give to another reporter.

The video clip loops with tighter and tighter vies of Acosta hacking the intern’s arm. If this happened in the NBA, the President would be at the free throw line and Acosta would have been given a technical foul and tossed from teh game for assaulting a referee.

Sanders, “We stand by our decision to revoke this individual’s hard pass. We will not tolerate the inappropriate behavior clearly documented in this video.”

A different video shows a clearer view of Acosta hacking the intern.

This article will be updated.

CNN White House producer Allie Malloy accused Sanders of lying. Then lied herself by denying Acosta touched the intern, “This is a complete lie. The woman grabbed Jim’s arm repeatedly. He never once touched her. In fact at one point tells her politely “pardon me, mam” as she’s yanking on his arm.”

The White House Correspondents’ Association posted a statement criticizing Sanders and defending Acosta.
