The Special Counsel responded to Flynn’s memo on Friday by defending the circumstances behind the Flynn ambush interview, claiming Flynn tried to “minimize” what he did — this is a flat out lie.

The Special Counsel cited a 302 interview with Peter Strzok about the Flynn ambush interview dated July 19th, 2017 — this 302 report was taken SIX MONTHS after the ambush interview.
Peter Strzok’s July 19th 302 interview, the entire reason for the General Flynn charge was conducted 4 days after Lisa Page was removed from the Special Counsel and just a few days before Strzok was fired by Robert Mueller.
If there is no original 302 on Flynn, it is a violation of FBI policy which is to have a contemporaneous record when interviewing a subject — Sara Carter noted that FBI reports must be placed in the system in a 1-A file within five days of the interview,” said Jeff Danik, former FBI SAC.

Counterintelligence agent Peter Strzok showed up to the White House on January 24th, 2017 along with Special Agent Joe Pientka to interview General Flynn; the meeting was arranged by former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.
According to the documents released Friday, “Strzok and [redacted agent] both had the impression at the time that Flynn was not lying or did not think he was lying.”
