Thursday afternoon, a judge set a $100,000 bond for Jussie Smollett just hours after the ‘Empire’ actor was arrested for filing a false police report.
Smollett’s lawyer asked the Cook County Judge John Fitzgerald Lyke Jr. to release Jussie on his own recognizance, but the judge said that would be inappropriate, reported KTIV.
Smollett must post only $10,000 and the judge said if noose is true, it ‘conjures up greatest evil in this country.’

This is chump change for Jussie Smollett because he reportedly makes $65,000 per episode on ‘Empire’ with an average of 18 episodes per season.
Jussie Smollett was arrested Thursday morning after a Cook County grand jury indicted him on one felony count of disorderly conduct for filing a false police report.
Chicago Police held a press conference Thursday morning on the Jussie Smollett hate hoax after the actor’s arrest.
The Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson said he’s “offended and angry” over Jussie Smollett’s hate hoax crime while he delivered an emotional press conference.
Mr. Johnson blasted Smollett’s staged attack as “shameful” then ripped into the Democrat politicians, celebrities and fake news pundits who all pushed the Jussie Smollett hoax whilst attacking millions of “racist” Trump supporters — all without any evidence a crime actually occurred.

Chicago Police admitted Smollett sent himself the racist, homophobic letter to the “Empire” studio.
Jussie Smollett’s bruises and scratches were self-inflicted.
It was also revealed that he wrote the brothers a check to help him stage the fake MAGA attack. Genius!
Democrat politicians, celebrities and fake news pundits all pushed the Jussie Smollett hate hoax yet they ignore the violent assaults, harassment and tech deplatforming of Trump supporters on a daily basis.
