According to high-level sources within the Ecuadorian state, WikiLeaks founder and award winning journalist Julian Assange will be expelled within “hours to days,” from the Ecuadorian embassy in London where he has been granted political asylum and living since 2012.
According to the sources, the Ecuadorian government already has an agreement with the UK for Julian Assange’s arrest and will be using the INA papers offshore scandal as a pretext.
Ecuador is currently claiming that Assange has violated the “terms” of his asylum — though legally asylum is not meant to have “terms.” Many supporters believe that he is attempting to find an excuse to expel the 2019 Nobel Peace Prize nominee from the embassy to earn favor from the US government.
Ecuadorian President Lenín Moreno is blaming WikiLeaks for recent allegations of corruption in local outlets and the publication of family photos to social media, the Associated Press reported earlier this week.
Without providing any evidence, Moreno accused WikiLeaks of intercepting private communications as well as “photos of my bedroom, what I eat, and how my wife and daughters and friends dance.”
WikiLeaks responded to Moreno’s claims, calling them “completely bogus.”
“If President Moreno wants to illegally terminate a refugee publisher’s asylum to cover up an offshore corruption scandal, history will not be kind,” WikiLeaks said in a statement.
Now the Ecuadorian government is using this scandal to potentially expel Assange from the embassy, according to high level sources that spoke to WikiLeaks.

Gateway Pundit reporter Cassandra Fairbanks visited Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy in London last week and detailed the prison-like conditions that he is currently being held in, despite having asylum, in an interview with One American News.
Fairbanks was locked in a room by Ecuadorian embassy officials last Monday when she went to visit Assange for a pre-approved two hour long visit. Ultimately, she was only able to see him for eight minutes — but detailed a massive fight between the ambassador and the publisher in a report for Gateway Pundit.
At one point, Ambassador Jaime Alberto Marchán even told Assange that he wanted him to shut up.
“I know you want me to shut up — the Ecuadorian president has already gagged me,” Assange fired back. “I am banned from producing journalism.”
