House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi defended Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) after a week filled with several allegations of sexual abuse by the 88-year-old Democrat.
Pelosi told Chuck Todd on Meet the Press:
“John Conyers is an icon in our country. He has done a great deal to protect the Violence Against Women Act.”
